50 Catalogues / 5 Hours / £8.40 an hour, and we are just getting started

I dropped out 50 catalogues to some of my Customerbase. Left them for 4 days (Fri to Mon)
Total Time Spent 5 Hours (Flexible around my other commitments)
13 Orders totaling £204 - Just Retail Profit for this is £42
There is Volume Profit calculated at the End of a Period so this is not the Final figure. VP also includes your teams business as well.

So £42 divide by 5 hours = £8.40

2008 Was Really Great!

Well as 2008 draws to a close so does the end of another Kleeneze Year.
There have been many things happening throughout this 85th Anniversary year of Kleeneze.


A Short History:
Started in Bristol by Harry Crook in May 1923, Kleeneze has grown into a very exciting Business Opportunity indeed from such modest beginings back then.

Harry Crook began his business making twisted wire brooms, and brushes, these were then sold Door to Door by Reps, but that was a long time ago now using the "Catalogue Concept" we can move products to the Customer Direct without the need to Sell anything at the door because the catalogue does the selling for us.

However, before we tap further into our Kleeneze History Treasure Chest, I wanted to take a little wander down the memory lane that was an amazingly successful 2008:

January

• Kleeneze launch Spring Destination 2009 – Club Med 2

• Craig and Magdalena White claim the title of Distributor of the Year

• The Corsa incentive is announced

• The new Opportunity DVD goes up online

• Kleeneze announce that every month we will be awarding the 85th Distributor to join up with a full refund of their start-up fee


Febuary

• Jean Day and Mark James appear on Channel M’s The Breakfast Show to talk about Kleeneze. YOUTUBE

• The Kleeneze Service Centre number changes to an 0844 number making it cheaper to contact when we need to

• The Greeneze Catalogue is launched

• Phuket qualification closed with dozens having qualified


March

• The new Opportunity Brochure is introduced

• Distributors jet off to Thailand for the Spring Destination 2008

• The fabulous Outdoor Life Catalogue is launched

• Kleeneze adds personal development books to its list of tools available

• Kleeneze announce that They’re taking us to "Coventry" for the Autumn Destination 2008


April

• The new series of Monthly Bargains flyers are introduced

• Kleeneze launch the Opportunity and Catalogue posters

• The Network is challenged to take part in the biggest event – our Anniversary Weekend

• Two new email addresses are introduced for your product feedback:

May

• The Anniversary Challenge takes place! Hundreds of Distributors up and down the country take part

• Outdoor Life Summer and the Summer Sale Leaflets are launched

• Head of Network Development Michael Khatkar is presented The Support Award by the Direct Selling Association (D.S.A.)

• We introduce the Retail Organiser to help keep your business running smoothly

• Jean Warrington spreads the brand name speaking on Southern Counties Radio


June

• The Summer Sales Conference came to town bringing with it incredible speakers and an earlier-than planned launch of the Autumn Destination, Not Coventry but Vienna!

•Kleeneze introduce our first celebrity-endorsed product range with [Patsy] Palmer-Cutler Self Tan

• The new Main Book and Health & Beauty also hit the streets during the month of June

• And there was the launch of a new clothing range too. This time Kleeneze went a step up from celebrity endorsement and got Michael Khatkar to model it instead.

• Our new DVD, Starting and Growing Your Own Kleeneze Business becomes available


July

• Online registration arrives! It was a massive step forward for the business and has made registration so much easier for everyone

• Our first ‘double’ qualifiers came through. Geoff and Fiona Webb and Andrew Buxton and Laura Kelly qualified for the Club Med 2 and Vienna.

• A new consumables leaflet is produced as a leave behind for your customers

• Kleeneze also created two types of colourful Day Slips for you to keep your customers informed

The Summer Sizzler Incentive arrived to much applause and led to qualifiers not only getting a refund of their start up fee, but qualifiers averaging £1000 per period in bulk sales (over 3 times as much as non-qualifiers) and on average each sponsoring 2 people within their first few weeks, a great result all round.

• The new Business Starter Kit arrives, making it even easier for new starters to get their business up and running


August

• Sales were sparkling as Kleeneze launched the brand new Cabouchon Catalogue, packed full of new products

• Kleeneze Distributor, Tracy Foster scooped £2,561,513 on the National Lottery and went to prove that for many Kleeneze is not just about the income, by carrying on with her business

• Amtrak go into administration…on a Friday night…of a Bank Holiday weekend. It was a nightmare scenario, but HQ staff worked tirelessly through the evening and by Saturday morning a new carrier arrangement had been negotiated with Parcelforce


September


• Everyone was saying SUMO following the massive Christmas Showcase in September. Our guest speaker Paul McGee whipped up a storm during the day and many people are still talking about it now!

• The Christmas Catalogue is launched – the biggest one we’ve ever produced!

• Also launched was the Kleeneze Countdown Card, something that could save you in the region of £500 a year!

• Kleeneze set another challenge and ask that everyone in the Network hold a coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support

• The Opportunity Brochure is redesigned to fit perfectly inside the Opportunity DVD sleeve – so you can mail them together!

• Mike and Jean Day hit Premier Distributor status


October

• Kleeneze addresses a younger audience than usual when we launch the Kleeneze Challenge in schools in Yorkshire. Together with Make Your Mark, Kleeneze asked youngsters to take part in a Dragons’ Den style initiative to make their own product for our famous catalogue!

• The competition is blown wide open as we announced a brand new Caribbean Cruise criteria

• The Gold Rush initiative was introduced. With a dedicated team at HQ, a new website and exclusive Club Med 2 criteria for Gold Distributors, there’s a real focus on these next leaders in the business

• Distributors waltz their way around the beautiful city of Vienna
for the Autumn Destination 2008

• The Summer Sizzler Incentive was so popular, we bring it back in the form of the SOS (Start Out Successful) Incentive and extend it to April 2009! VIEW PDF


November

• Sylvia Laing does her bit for spreading the brand name taking to the BBC Radio Lancashire airwaves to discuss the Kleeneze opportunity on Ladies@Lunch

• Kleeneze Christmas Carrier Bags are introduced – a more festive way to get your orders out

• Online re-registration goes live at a lovely discounted rate!

• Contract negotiations with Parcelforce are now completed with overall feedback of a much improved service compared to Amtrak.


December


• Three new catalogues are introduced to kick-start your New Year – The Main Book, Health & Beauty and the New Year Sale Catalogue

Kleeneze introduce the Retail Challenge, where just by taking part and placing your orders, you can win some amazing prizes, including tickets to the races and a week in Cyprus!

• The qualification criteria for Spring Destination 2010 is published.
